Comb picks are a quick and easy way to open pin and tumbler locks. They eliminate the need to find the shear line on each pin by pushing the pin stacks completely out of the plug (allowing it to rotate freely). They are a great tool to have on-hand when speed is important.
To use, select the correct comb (based on pin count, spacing, and pin length) and insert it into the lock. Push the pins out of the plug and turn the pick like a key.
Our MTL Comb Pick Set comes with 8 different tooth configurations for use with a variety of locks:
- 2 double-sided 5-tooth combs
- 1 double-sided 6 tooth comb
- 1 double-sided 7 tooth comb
Each pick has a soft rubber grip for great control and feel, and is made from high-grade stainless steel.
